When you signup with PayPal and link your bank account you get a Personal wallet account which allows you to send & receive payments from/to your wallet globally. You can also receive payments from other PayPal member wallets. To additionally accept credit/debit card payments you need to upgrade to a Premier/Business account.
PayPal does not charge any currency conversion fees for domestic transactions (sender & receiver in the same country using the same currency) in the following currencies:

You need to signup & upgrade to a PayPal Premier/Business account to enable the PayPal Express Checkout facility on your pMP link(s). You can use USD for receiving international payments via our PayPal module.
